INIKI... Our new girl!

This is Iniki... She came to us with a broken leg... unfortunately we could not save it like we were able to do for Murray and Trooper (aka BLD)... But no problem... Iniki runs around just fine.  It does not slow her down at all! She is beautiful girl with irrisistable blue eyes who will be available soon!

Our newest boy, MURRAY needs your help!

So I started a ChipIn this morning to help Murray raise the $3000.00 that we need for his surgery and care. The link is completely broken....so I'll try this.
Murray is a beautiful Husky that Husky Haven rescued from animal control. He was found on the side of the road...in terrible shape, all we knew when we picked him up is that he had a broken leg. We had a pin put into his right upper arm/leg,... but we found out that he also has four pelvic fractures and multiple lacerations. He will be immobile for the next 8 weeks and we currently have to hoist him up to get him outside for him to pee. He is on 3 pain meds and a pain patch and also on antibiotics. He has to take a Pepsid AC daily to keep his stomach from getting upset from all the meds. We don't know what the future holds.....but we will it make brighter than his past. What we are asking for covers his surgery , meds and all the doctor visits and aftercare. Thanks for helping Murray....please go to to the bottom right of this page to donate to our Pay Pal or email huskyhaventx@earthlink.net to get an adress to send a check. Thanks - Beth

Siberian Champs in the News!

Dustie (left) and Chandler (right) earned their 1st qualifying score in Novice Jumpers at the recent 2008 New Hope NADAC agility trial; Sasha (far right) qualified in Novice Tunnelers and Open Standard.  Dustie is a champion show dog. Chandler and Sasha were adopted from Husky Haven. We are so proud of them!

Thanks Holland Elementary!

All the dogs and volunteers at Husky Haven want to give a big thanks to Holland Elementary for the generous donation of $1015!  We appreciate this so much! Also, a big thanks to Annette Kilchrist, Idgie's mom, for organizing it!
